1. Overview
These Customer Booking Terms apply to all customers using www.quicksy.com.au (“Platform”) to book services.
Quicksy (“Quicksy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates an online marketplace connecting customers with independent service professionals (“Service Providers”).
By booking a service through Quicksy, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Agreement
When you make a booking:

You enter into a direct agreement with the Service Provider.

Quicksy is not the service provider.

Quicksy does not supervise, control, or guarantee services.

Quicksy facilitates booking, payment, and communication.
The Service Provider is solely responsible for performing the service.
3. Booking Process
To make a booking, you must:

Provide accurate contact and service details.

Provide correct address and access instructions.

Ensure the location is safe and accessible.

Confirm availability and time selection.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation or additional charges.
4. Pricing & Payment

Service pricing is determined by the Service Provider.

Platform fees may apply.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Payment must be made through the Quicksy platform unless otherwise authorised.
By completing a booking, you authorise Quicksy to charge your selected payment method.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are governed by Quicksy’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Key principles:

Free cancellation may apply before confirmation.

Late cancellations may incur fees.

No-shows may result in full charge.

Refunds are subject to Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are encouraged to review cancellation windows before booking.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide a safe working environment.

Disclose relevant site conditions.

Ensure pets are secured (if applicable).

Comply with safety requirements.

Treat Service Providers respectfully.
If a Service Provider reasonably determines that the environment is unsafe, the booking may be cancelled without refund.
7. Service Changes
If you request additional services beyond the original booking:

Changes must be agreed directly with the Service Provider.

Quicksy is not responsible for off-platform arrangements.
8. Communication
All communication regarding bookings should occur through the Quicksy platform where possible.
Circumventing the platform to avoid fees may result in account suspension.
9. Reviews & Feedback
After completion, you may leave a review.
Reviews must:

Be honest and accurate.

Not contain defamatory, abusive, or misleading content.
Quicksy may remove inappropriate reviews.
10. Disputes
If an issue arises:

Contact the Service Provider first.

If unresolved, contact Quicksy support.

Provide evidence if requested.
Quicksy may assist in mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Quicksy is not liable for:

Quality of service.

Damage caused by Service Providers.

Indirect or consequential losses.
-
Business interruption or lost profits.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Insurance & Risk
Service Providers are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance.
Customers acknowledge that engaging services involves inherent risks.
Quicksy does not provide insurance coverage for service performance.
13. Account Suspension
Quicksy may suspend or terminate accounts for:

Fraudulent activity.

Abusive behaviour.

Circumventing platform payments.

Breach of Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
15. Changes to Terms
Quicksy may update these Customer Booking Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
